Seat Billing

Understand how team seat billing works.

How Seat Billing Works

Teams are billed per seat (active team member). Each seat includes:

  • 180 roleplay minutes per month (1 minute = 1 credit)
  • Full access to all KendoAI features
  • Seats are charged at your plan rate
  • Add or remove seats as needed
  • Prorated billing for mid-cycle changes

    • Credits Per Seat

    Each seat adds credits to your team:

    - 180 credits per seat per month

    - Credits are pooled for the entire team

    - Example: 5 seats = 900 credits/month

    - All team members share the credit pool

    - Perfect for collaborative training environments

    Adding Seats

    When you invite new team members:

    1. Invite the member

    2. When they accept, a seat is added

    3. You're charged prorated amount for the remaining billing period

    4. 180 credits are added to your team pool (prorated)

    5. Next billing includes the full seat cost

    Removing Seats

    When you remove team members:

  • The seat is freed immediately
  • Credits from that seat are removed from the pool
  • No refund for current period (prorated credit on some plans)
  • Seat won't be charged next cycle
  • Member loses access immediately

    • Seat Status

    Check your seat usage:

  • Go to Team > Billing
  • See active seats and available
  • View per-seat cost and credit allocation
  • See total team credits (seats × 180)
  • See next billing amount

    • Enterprise Seats

    Enterprise plans handle seats differently:

  • Pre-purchased seat pools
  • Volume discounts on credits
  • Annual seat commitments
  • Custom billing arrangements

    • Contact your account manager for enterprise seat changes.
