Google Workspace Integration
Connect Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Meet through one Google account.
One Connection, Three Capabilities
Each teammate connects one Google account. The same OAuth connection lets Kendo create Gmail drafts for review, manage Calendar events, and import native Google Meet artifacts the account can access.
Kendo does not join meetings with a bot and does not send Gmail drafts automatically.
Requirements
A Google Workspace plan and account permissions that support the capabilities you want
Native Google Meet recording enabled for recording import
Meet transcription enabled when you want speaker-attributed transcript text
Access to the meeting artifacts as the connected Google user
Calendar and Gmail compose authorization for scheduling and draft creation
Connect Google
- 1. Open Configure > Integrations > Google
- 2. Choose the Kendo team that should receive imported Meet calls
- 3. Select Connect Google and complete authorization in the new tab
- 4. Return to Kendo and confirm Gmail, Calendar, and Meet show Connected
- 5. Use Sync now to import up to 20 recent eligible Meet artifacts while automatic checks continue in the background
Gmail Drafts
Kendo uses compose access only to create a draft requested by the user. Review and send it from Gmail; the integration does not send on your behalf.
The default connection does not request broad mailbox-reading access. A generated draft remains in the user's Google account until the user manages it there.
Calendar and Scheduled Calls
The sales calendar can display availability and events, create or reschedule meetings, invite guests, delete requested events, and add native Google Meet conferencing.
Scheduled-call workspaces bring together notes, action items, attendance, outcome, and linked call analysis. Existing Google or Zoom events may require one reconnect when new Calendar permissions are introduced.
Google Meet Imports
Kendo checks periodically for completed native Meet artifacts and imports eligible recordings and transcripts into the selected team. New meetings appear after Google finishes processing the artifacts.
Native recording and transcription are separate Google features: a recording provides playback, while transcription provides speaker-attributed text for analysis. Kendo imports only artifacts visible to the connected account.
Data Handling and Deletion
OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted before storage. Imported Meet transcripts, durable recording copies when available, and derived analysis are retained for up to 90 days.
Disconnecting revokes the Google grant, permanently deletes Kendo's stored OAuth credentials, and deletes Google-derived Meet calls, recording copies, Calendar event workspaces, and booking records from Kendo. Calendar events and Gmail drafts remain in Google and can be managed there.

Troubleshooting
Action required or Reconnect: The grant expired, a scope was revoked, or Kendo added a required capability. Reconnect and approve the requested scopes.
A Meet is missing: Confirm native recording/transcription finished, the connected user can access the artifact, the destination team is correct, and then use Sync now.
Only some features show Connected: Reconnect once to add the missing Gmail, Calendar, Meet, or recording scope.
A meeting is in the wrong team: Change the destination team on the connected integration; new imports use the saved route.
