AI Context

Configure team-level context to make KendoAI's AI smarter for your business.

What is AI Context?

AI Context is a team-level knowledge base that feeds your organization's specific information into KendoAI's AI features. By providing structured context about your company, products, methodology, competitors, and more, you make the AI smarter and more relevant to your business.

AI Context powers multiple features across KendoAI:

Call Scoring - More accurate evaluation against your actual methodology

AI Coaching - Recommendations aligned with your sales approach

Roleplay Training - AI prospects that reference your real products and competitors

AI Manager - Contextual feedback and guidance for reps

Setting Up AI Context

  1. To configure your team's AI context:
  2. 1. Go to the AI Context tab in your team workspace
  3. 2. Select a category from the left navigation (Company, Products, Scripts, etc.)
  4. 3. Fill in the text fields with your organization's information
  5. 4. Watch the character count indicators — green means good coverage, amber means more detail could help
  6. 5. Click Save Category when you're done with each section
  7. 6. Repeat for additional categories to improve coverage
  8. The completion percentage at the top shows your overall AI context coverage.

Available Categories

AI Context is organized into structured categories:

Company - Your company overview, mission, value proposition, and market position

Products - Product details, features, pricing, and use cases

Scripts - Sales scripts, talk tracks, and messaging frameworks

Methodology - Your sales methodology, process stages, and qualification criteria

Competitors - Competitor information, differentiators, and battle cards

Objections - Common objections and approved handling responses

Personas - Target buyer personas and their priorities

Assets - Reference materials, case studies, and supporting content

Each category shows which AI features use that data, so you can prioritize what to fill in first.

Permissions

AI Context editing is restricted to team managers:

Owners and Administrators - Full access to edit and save all categories

Team Members - Can view AI context but cannot make changes

This ensures your AI context remains accurate and consistent across the team.

Best Practices

Get the most from AI Context:

- Start with Company and Products - These categories have the highest impact across all AI features

- Be specific - Include real product names, pricing tiers, and competitor details rather than generic descriptions

- Use the guidance tips - Each field includes expandable guidance with examples of what to include

- Aim for green indicators - The character count feedback helps you provide enough detail without overdoing it

- Update regularly - Keep your context current as products, pricing, or competitors change

- Review the coverage meter - Higher completion percentage means better AI performance across all features
