Assign Training

Assign targeted roleplay drills to reps based on call performance.

Overview

Assign Training lets managers assign specific roleplay drills to individual reps directly from call analytics. When reviewing a rep's call performance, managers can identify areas for improvement and immediately assign targeted practice.

Unlike Training Paths (which are structured multi-step journeys), assigned training is a single-session drill focused on a specific prospect with a clear goal.

Assigning a Training Drill

  1. To assign training to a rep:
  2. 1. Open Call Analytics for a specific rep's call
  3. 2. Click the Assign Training button
  4. 3. Select a prospect for the rep to practice with
  5. 4. Choose a goal type:
  6. - Score Goal - Rep must achieve a minimum score (default: 70, adjustable via slider)
  7. - Time Goal - Rep must complete a minimum amount of practice time (default: 30 minutes)
  8. 5. Click Assign to send the training assignment
  9. The rep receives an in-app notification and optional email about the new assignment.

Rep Experience

Assigned training appears in the rep's Personal Analytics dashboard under the Assigned Training section:

View the assigned prospect and goal details

Click Start Training to begin the roleplay session

Progress is tracked automatically against the goal

Mark the assignment as complete when the goal is met

Reps can also see their assigned training from the Team Analytics view.

When to Use Each Approach

Assign Training (single drill) is best for:

- Addressing a specific weakness spotted in a call review

- Quick targeted practice on a particular skill

- Ad-hoc coaching follow-ups

Training Paths (multi-step journey) are best for:

- Structured onboarding programs

- Comprehensive skill-building sequences

- Team-wide training initiatives

Both approaches work together — use paths for systematic training and assignments for in-the-moment coaching.
